Dixon

I ain't ever been set up with a woman in my life, but when Hawk told me about this chick I just had to meet I was nervous as hell. I wasn't even this nervous when I lost my virginity. Plus, the only dudes who went out on blind dates were those pathetic types. I sure as hell wasn't one of them.

It didn't feel right to be going out on a date when danger was coming our way. But the brothers at the club talked me into it. Cobra's dad made a promise to wreak havoc on our club and we were biding our time until he made the first move.

Every feeling of worry vanished into thin air when she slid her perfectly toned ass across that booth in the diner. It was like my entire world changed. I've never been the type who believed in love at first sight. Even to this day I wouldn't call it that.

Like every man, I had a type. Except Indra was the total opposite of that. She was exactly what I needed.

But with her came an ultimatum I never expected. I was forced to choose between my family and her.

This is the tenth book in the Reapers MC series. This book had me laughing, crying, angry, wanting to hurt someone. I had all the feels. This book has drama, heat, angst, action, suspense, romance, MC, revenge, secrets. The book is well written and has very likeable characters. I did not want to put the book down. I can't wait for the next book in this series. I highly recommend this book.

This is great book! It shows how out of tragedy, a beautiful thing can come, the birth of a child. It also shows how strong a person really is.
Dixon, has always been on the wrong side of the tracks, from his birth up until now, at least in the eyes of people for being in a Motorcycle club.
Indra has had a stable upbringing and then a stable marriage, until her husbands death.
They shouldn’t work but they do, and it is a tentative walk to be they they get to. In the end its more then worth it.
Dixon gets his girl, family and still settles into his role in the MC and life.
Indra finds a friend, mate, and a person who would give his life for her and her son Jalen.
It doesn’t get any better then that.

Dixon by Elizabeth Knox is book 10 in the Reapers MC Series. This is the story of Indra and Dixon. This was a standalone book for me. Dixon never really had a family until he became a part of the Reapers but now since seeing his friends find their happy ending he starts to want that. Which leads him to be set up on a blind date with Indra. Indra was once married but her husband died in a car accident later she learned she was pregnant. Now about three years later she is a single mom.
I enjoyed their story and hope to read more from this author.

I think I hyped this book up in my head and it turned out to not be one of my favorites. I liked both characters but some things didn't flow for me. Still love the series and I'm looking forward to the next book.

Dixon and Indra, well what a perfect couple. Dixon was intriguing in the previous book, so I knew he would have a fantastic story to tell, and boy did he, his past was heart breaking, his opinion of himself not great, but one little lady changed all that. Indra hadn't had an easy past, and she deserved the happiness that Dixon could give her. If only the universe would let them get on with it!!! This book carries on the reapers MC story and answers a few questions that you have from book 9.

I loved the intensity of this story, the passion and determination of this couple was palpable, and the ending, OMG why!!! I can't wait for the next instalment from my men of the Reapers MC, and yes they are all mine!

Let me start with this important note. This is the first book I've read In this series. I'm sure I missed plenty in the nine books that came before it but nothing that prevented me from enjoying this book on its own merit.

The story starts with a heartbreaking loss. When a blind date brings Indra and Dixon together, things get cute and heartfelt. It really is a sweet start to their relationship, showing the heart of both characters.

As their relationship grows, they experience more heartbreak, life-altering experiences, and emotional times but also some fantastic moments. While Indra and Dixon have the makings for an HEA, some bad things happen to several people (note: there are trigger warnings for a reason), leaving the MC with some serious hurdles ahead.

I enjoyed this as part of the Mayhem box set.

This was a good read. Dixon is not the type of guy that wants to be set up on a blind date. However, he agrees and this is when he meets Indra. He is also not one for love at first sight. Yet when he meets her things change. There are a lot of ups and downs in this book but in the end it all works out.

This is the 10th book in this MC series but it can be read as a stand-alone. Dixon was set up on a blind date and he meets Indra and sparks fly. What will happen when a war breaks out with another MC will everyone be safe? Fast-paced read with great characters, loads of drama and steam. I liked it.

Nice but not great

The book stayed quite superficial. We didn’t get to know anything deep or meaningful about the H/h. There were also a few things which didn’t make much sense. For instance, Indra (we don’t know how old she is) is supposed to have been a general manager before her husband died, he had a good job, her parents have great jobs but her husband didn’t have insurance? Why is she struggling, working two jobs?
We know Dixon is part of the club but we never knew what he actually did for a living , allowing him to leave Belle great tips. The whole scene when he first saw his sister after more than a decade was bizarre. He seemed more interested in getting revenge than knowing her and understanding what happened. The whole running around town, trying to find the abusers without much of a plan seemed weird as well. It made them appear stupid, all muscle, zero brains. You would have thought they would have regrouped between Toby and Lucien. Even more so knowing Lucien had had it in for them for a long time. They walked into a trap without any kind of recon. Lastly, the synopsis said that he would have to choose between family and Indra. That showdown was completely flat. The book could have done without the whole cliché racist father. In this context it was even more nonsensical considering he hadn’t seen the man in years. Introducing family, more conversation with Abbey would have given Dixon more depth. As for Indra’s parents, I can understand their reservations. Not only does your daughter quit a great job to struggle but then she takes up with someone at the margins of society. More interactions between them and Dixon to placate Indra’s dad fears would have been helpful.

The Prologue starts 3 years earlier than the main story with Indra and her husband Cornell in an automobile accident. They had been celebrating their 6th wedding anniversary at Grand Canyon National Park when the accident happened. When she touches him, she knows he is dead.

We find out Indra and Dixon meet when Sakura sets them up on a date. Dixon sees his brothers settling down he wants the same thing they have, a good woman and, one day, children. He and Sakura had a conversation and she said she would help him BUT he had to remain celibate until she found him “the one.”

I normally like to write my notes down as I read a book . . . When you read the book, you will know I stopped my notes early. Why you may ask? I got so interested in the book I just kept reading so I could get the story finished and find out what happened to all the characters.
I knew what was going to happen but there was a twist I didn’t expect . . . great book!
Even though this is the 10th book in the series, it is the first I have read and did not feel at a loss.

Ahhhh I loved this sooo much!! I was super curious at the end of Hawk about Indra and the possibility of her dating Dixon! I really loved how Liz gave us so much with this book. Indra is so different from her other heroines and Dixon wasn't someone we really knew too much about.

These two really seemed like they were meant for each other. Dixon was finally ready to find his ending, and Indra was truly living her life again. It was a total fate type moment, to me at least, that she ended up being the person helping Hawk with his rings. Indra and Dixon have really overcome so much, but in profoundly different ways. I love that we got this really deep knowledge into Indra and her past. I think it gave us so much more of a perspective on who she is. And then Dixon, his past totally came rearing it's head throughout this whole book.

Liz is AMAZING at the plot twist game. Each of her stories is a complete rollercoaster and every single curve and corkscrew leaves you reeling. This one is definitely no exception. We got so much jammed backed in here and we really got a few crazy surprises. And, par for the course with these! And also in true Liz fashion, I was cursing her out and begging for more!!!

Begging for more seemed to be a common theme for me throughout this whole book. I couldn't get enough of Indra, her family and Dixon. Not to mention the interesting things going on with the MC and the brothers families. I love getting to see their families grow and see how everything progresses. We never truly say goodbye to anyone and I absolutely love that!! Liz also brought in some other MCs again and I'm so curious to see what happens next!!

It appears that the author has a couple of books under her belt and she's got a solid way with words. It was a good first start by me being that is my first times reading anything written by this writer.

The book took off with a blast and at times it did lost its stamina. There were previous characters mention of the other books in this series and that is to be expected, but it didn’t allow the story go off track as I was able to follow to know who they were.

The plot moved quickly and I kept being amused by the character interactions. This book is about an MC character Dixon, searching for the perfect soul mate. It has some cheesy moments, however the dialogue is stellar, the side characters are comedic, and the reader can’t help but get immense into their lives and their biker world.

Dixon and Indra are both genuinely likable and I absolutely adored everything about them. Both characters made the book to be truly remarkable. Everything Dixon said and did for Indra was perfectly said and done, and they complemented each other.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and did not think it was obtuse. The book was a quick, light, enjoyable romance. I definitely recommend for lovers of Motorcycle romances.

Dixon grew up in foster homes after his mother died and father sent to prison for robbing a department store...he was separated from his younger sister, Abbey, who had different father and sent to stay with her grandmother...He ended up with Fist and Reapers M/C who gave him structure and purpose...coming to the Las Vegas club. He normally dated an exotic woman, usually Hispanic or Asian, but his friends Sakura and Hawk had set him up on a blind date with woman they knew from a jewelry store...She lost her husband in car wreck three years before, but had a son named Jalen who was her world...they met, liked each other and he had no problems with him being a white man with a beautiful black woman. He thought Indra's little boy is a gift to remember her former husband...He took her to the clubhouse, even fixed up the spare bedroom for Jalen to have his favorite T-Rex bedding and toys...but all is not well as the club as a severely beaten woman shows up at club, then finding out is his sister Abbey...and the Lucifer's Heretics have declared war on the Reapers....but you will need to read this suspenseful story with all sorts of twists and turns to see what happens...I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Great MC Read in an awesome MC Series. Dixon has always been a player. Something that is a good thing when girls are plentiful in the MC lifestyle. But as he watches his buddies find their one and only he admits to Sakura that he wants what his brothers have. So Sakura, with Hawks' help, set out to find him the perfect girl. In walks Indra, and her 2 year old son, who has lived through tragedy and is just now learning to survive on her own. I don’t do spoilers and there is honestly no way to discuss this one without giving things away. So I’ll simply say READ THIS BOOK. It’s full of action, romance, suspense and so much more. Plus it’s a second chance, heartbreaking, heartwarming story all rolled up into one. Need I say more?

The book is very well written and if you’ve kept up with the series, trust me when I say Dixon’s story was well worth waiting for. While it can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend reading from the start for a greater reading experience. Kudos Ms. Knox for another great Reapers MC storyline and this reader can’t wait to see what happens next.

2 Thumbs Up and 5+ Stars.

Dixon finds a family and also rediscovers family

Dixon is the tenth book in the Reapers MC series and is the story of Dixon and Indra. But there are a lot of other things happening in the book so their story is not the sole focus. I personally would have liked more of Dixon and Indra's relationship, along with her son Jalen. It sort of went from zero to one hundred at warp speed without much happening between them during that time. But what there was was really nicely written and very sweet and genuine. Dixon and Indra did work well together and seemed to fit perfectly. Additionally he really took to Jalen, her son by her dead husband, and went above and beyond to welcome him.
There were a lot of other stories happening including Dixon's half sister Abbey unexpectedly coming to the club severely beaten. Plus add in another club declaring war on the Reapers and it is off to the races with this book in the continuing story.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

Reapers MC is always my go to for a story that will leave me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. Elizabeth Knox never lets me down with a story that pulls me in and gives me everything I could need to cause goosebumps everywhere. Up till now we don' know a lot about Dixon so I was excited to get to know him better. I love that his buddy set him up on a blind date because it is so far out there that a biker would even agree to it. But when Dixson lays eyes on Indra he couldn't deny that this women was going to be trouble, the good kind. She blew the other women he has ever met out the window, she was different and he wanted her. Indra is an incredible character in this book, I cannot tell you just how much I enjoyed reading all about her and her family. She is strong and just want Dixon needs. With Dixons history and the MC currently in danger, the twists and turns of the plot are epic!! I read this in a day and now I want more of the other characters. Love love love this series.

Well, I've waited a long time for Dixon to finally get his story. I absolutely love Dixon!! This book was WELL WORTH THE WAIT!! Indra is the perfect match for Dixon. And we have Hawk and Sakura to thank for this connection. You'll have to read to find out more! This book has it all: anger, love, sadness, second chance, cute kiddos, and much more. I could almost cry that this couple now exists in the literature world. Okay, I'm being dramatic (sort of). In all seriousness, we definitely get to see a different side of Dixon and find out more about his family. What a roller coaster ride, but through it all he had his Zen and Jalen.

Oh!! Pay attention in this book because Elizabeth Knox drops details about further members and what's going to possibly happen in the future. Hey! Half the fun is envisioning something happening to a certain member and then she goes in a completely different direction.

I loved this book and highly recommend it. I can't wait for the next book!!

Dixon's luck changes when he is set up on a blind date with single mom, Indra.

After watching most of his MC brothers find love and with their family growing by leaps and bounds with each new addition, Dixon feels a strong urge to settle down himself.

Indra is in a rut. After losing her husband so suddenly and finding herself pregnant, she's dealt with each hit and gotten stronger but it's also been lonely. Dixon isn't the type of man she would ever have imagined herself with but behind his rough biker exterior, Dixon and the rest of the guys are decent, honorable men.

But when the club's rival stirs up trouble, will it be more than Indra can handle? Will Dixon be able to protect the woman he's grown to love?

Recommended for fans of biker romance, rough and tumble men and strong heroines. No cheating, OW/OM drama and has a HEA.

Heat Level: 3/5

3.25 Stars. (BW/WM). Kindle Unlimited Edition e-book. This is my first read of this author and this series, I enjoyed the story and was able to follow the events. The main characters are likable and their conversations are realistic and serve to create believe romantic chemistry between the hero and the heroine. There a few loose ends...ages of the hero and heroine, does the hero have income outside earnings from his MC membership, why is the heroine so strapped for cash and needing to work two jobs and so on. The hero, Dixon and the heroine, Indra are two souls trying to move on from their tragic pasts, they meet on a blind date and share an immediate attraction to each other. All is not smooth sailing with roses and sweet music, there is some drama and conflict : rival gang havoc, a mule in the Reapers midst, Dixon's family conflict and Indra's father's prejudice toward Dixon and MCs.

Loved Dixon's story, to decide he is ready for commitment and pledge to abstain until he finds the one is not something expected of a manwhore. His letting his friends set him up totally unexpected.
Indra is a strong independent women who has totally reinvented herself into what she wanted to be. I read this in one sitting and can'take wait for updates on all of them in the next story.
Elizabeth Knox has grabbed my attention and become one of my must have authors, in conjunction with Laural k Hamilton, Christine Feehan, Robert Heinline, Anne McCaffery, CA Bishop, Sloane Kennedy, Patricia Briggs, Carrie Ann Ryan, MD Stewart and other who I own on my Kindle and in print when posdible.
Don'the miss out, read as soon as you can.

Dixon and Indra are so perfect for each other. I have to say I love them as much as I loved Mouser and Sakura. Dixon was the Sargent at Arms for the club and has found a family. He lost his parents when he was young, and was separated from his sister after that. Indra is a single mom who only has time for her job and son. However, Sakura thinks she and Dixon would be perfect for each other. And boy, was she right. This one will bring out all the feels. You will be taken on quite a ride. Elizabeth has a way with hooking you in and leave you wanting more from these couples. There is action, suspense, steam and some twists and turns. You will want to have some tissue nearby. I was hooked from the beginning to the end. I absolutely love this series and each book gets better. Don’t miss out on this book and grab it up.

Well we finally get Dixon's story and even though this can be read as a stand alone do yourself a favour and read all the books int his wonderful series You won't be disappointed and you will get a far deeper understanding of all of the characters that pop up in the story line

Dixon has a type he only dates either Asian or Hispanic woman that is until he is introduced to Indra he sudden;y finds his taste has changed She is a wonderful woman of colour who is also a single mum how did Sakura and Hawk know that she wouls be perfect for him. As he settles her and her son Jalen into the club house though danger is getting ever closer and his half sister is the one used to send a message after she is badly beaten by the Lucifer's Heretics How will the reapers react and can they keep all their women safe You will have to read to see

This book is fantastic! It pulls you in and doesn't let go even when you have read the last word. The characters will steal your heart. Dixon and Indra have their own pasts and demons to deal with but can not deny the pull they feel when together. Indra has a son, will she risk letting Dixon near him? Can he open his heart enough to realize he is good man and deserves love and happiness vs just belonging to his club and being a good brother to his fellow biker brothers? Check out this book and find out. I was so caught up in this story time disappeared. Who needs sleep? Loved It! A definite must have. I am looking forward to more in this series! I am voluntarily leaving my review after reading an advance reader copy from the author.

Growing up in foster care after a horrible childhood, Dixon ends up in the Reaper's MC where he finds a home. But Dixon wants what many of the other members in the club have, a family. Enter Indra and her young son when he is setup on a date by Sakura. Their story takes off at a fast pace with many emotions mixed in. Also entering Dixon's life is a half sister with problems of her own. As with all good MC stories, it is filled with lots of action, suspense, and danger, as well as sexy romance. A great read for MC lovers with lots of feels, Elizabeth Knox gives MC readers another knockout story in "Dixon". **I was gifted a copy of "Dixon" by Booksprout and leave my review voluntarily based on my reading.** 4.5 Stars!

I couldn't put this book down, oh my oh my was this a roller-coaster of emotions. Dixon and Indra, special kinda couple for sure truly are what you find at the end of a rainbow.
I won't say they're the typical biker couple that Elizabeth writes about, as honestly all couples in her MC series are the same but different, each bring something new to a reader but they also compliment the other couples when they feature in a book together, so much so I don't think the books would work otherwise.
Highly recommended addiction to have, you can't go wrong reading for Elizabeth Knox that's for sure.

I’ve always love motorcycle club books and this one just got added to the list of the best ones. Dixon is set up on a blind date but doesn’t know if he should go cause the club is about to face some serious issues. His brothers make him and he meets Indra. Do you believe in love at first site? Cause I think Dixon was blasted by it when Indra walked through the door at the diner for this date. They get closer and closer but what will happen when he has to choose between her and the club and his family? Get this book and find out!!

You will fall in love from this story about Dixon and Indra from Elizabeth Knox which is book 10 in the Reapers MC series. This was an emotional story with lots of drama and love between Dixon and Indra who are a beautiful couple that have been set up by Hawk and Sakura. There was a strong connection between them from the beginning and as the story evolved that connection just grew. This is a wonderful series by Elizabeth Knox and with each book and couple we are introduced to we are definitely never disappointed. Highly recommend this book and the entire series.

I loved Dixon and Indra!! Indra has had some serious heartache in her life. Her sunshine and happiness is her son. Dixon is the Sergeant At Arms for the MC and women were a dime a dozen for him. His brothers start settling down and starting families!! Dixon wants that too. Sakura and Hawk set him up on a blind date with Indra. Just like that, Insta love!! Chaos continues in the MC world. Abby, who is Dixon's sister, shows up with her own problems. There is some serious action in this book and your feelings will be on a constant ride!! Loved it!! Love this series!!!
