Geriatric Dentistry Program—Lifelong Smiles

The School of Dental Medicine offers multiple programs that benefit the Cleveland community. Among them is the Geriatric Dentistry Program—Lifelong Smiles, through which a 38-foot mobile van travels to area nursing homes to treat patients.

Students and faculty can provide full-service oral care aboard the van, with the completion of the geriatric program part of curriculum requirements.

The program seeks to fill the needs of an aging population, bringing services to elderly patients who may not otherwise be able to go to a dentist.
