Culturally Responsive Family Engagement Series - Multilingual Facilitation with PARCEO

This professional learning series is brought to you by the Division of Multilingual Learners (DML) in partnership with PARCEO. 

This 90-minute workshop explores how to facilitate various group settings, particularly multilingual facilitation within a community-centered framework. Facilitators hone in on multilingual groups and facilitation with participants that have different language and literacy backgrounds. The workshop explores different resources and tools for facilitation using multiple modalities to build collective knowledge and active community participation even when participants speak different languages and have varied literacy backgrounds. The workshop includes small group discussion, role-playing, and individual reflections. Building from information that is gathered, facilitators create a session to reflect participant needs.
