Culturally Responsive Family Engagement 2.0 - with Bridging Cultures Group (2/28)

Culturally Responsive Family Engagement Series Registration Form

Thank you for your interest in our Culturally Responsive Sustaining Family Engagement series.

Provided by the New York City Department of Education’s Division of Multilingual Learners in partnership with Bridging Cultures Group, Inc., this 4-part series is intended to support family-facing staff and educators identify strategies, resources, and affirming language to use when engaging multilingual and immigrant South Asian, Arab, Muslim, and West African communities.

Bonus Session!
Bridging Cultures Group will provide a 90-minute bonus workshop focused on understanding the culturally diverse financial customs and traditions that immigrant families practice in their home countries and how that might influence their decisions in the US. This workshop is geared to undo assumptions and expand educators' ability to be culturally mindful in their interactions with parents seeking assistance with financial planning for college. Participants will receive resources they can use in financial workshops and one-on-one conversations with families.

Please fill out this form to register for the session. The session will be hosted on Tuesday, February 28 from 10 - 11:30 AM. After registering, you will receive a message containing a Zoom link to access the session.

We are looking forward to seeing you!
