Ms. DeMasi: ademasi2251@stuy.edu ACT Fee Waivers SAT Fee Waivers https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat/register/fees/ College Application fee waivers 2) Non Common App colleges (MIT, Georgetown, etc.) often accept the CollegeBoard fee waiver, available to students who used SAT fee waivers via their online account at www.collegeboard.org. Eligible students may also use a NACAC Fee Waiver 3) Students using suny.edu to apply to SUNY institutions rather than using the Common App must obtain a separate SUNY fee waiver from the College Office, which they must complete, sign, and mail to SUNY ASC. We strongly recommend that students use Common App rather than suny.edu whenever possible. CUNY FEE WAIVERS ALL NYC DOE PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS CAN APPLY TO CUNY FOR FREE DURING THE MONTH OF OCTOBER 2023 REGARDLESS OF THEIR FAMILY INCOME! See the attached letter for details. Students applying to Macaulay Honors College can submit their CUNY application by 10/31 and then log back in to the application to upload the Macaulay essays by Nov. 16. This allows students to take advantage of the fee waiver benefit without having to rush their Macaulay essays. Rec letters for Macaulay are not due until Nov. 28. Remember that students can apply to up to six CUNY campuses through the one application. CUNY FEE WAIVERS AFTER OCTOBER 2023: Eligible students should select "pay later" when submitting their application. Students will then receive a CUNY ID number via email. Students should email their assigned college counselor with their CUNY ID and request a CUNY fee waiver. We then submit a request to CUNY on your behalf to waive your application fee. That process could take as long as six to eight weeks, so don't delay. Contact your assigned college counselor if you have questions or need assistance. |
