Stacey Abrams Denies Science of Fetal Heartbeat, Planned Parenthood Follows Her Outlandish Conspiracy

Since reality doesn’t support their agenda, the abortion lobby gets much of their exercise running as far away from it as possible, and in their marathon of madness, they can say some pretty crazy things — Stacey Abrams’ recent comment about fetal heartbeats being an excellent example. Not only did Abrams deny the scientific reality of a preborn child’s heartbeat, but she also actually implied that fetal heartbeats are a part of some patriarchal conspiracy theory. Here’s what you need to know about her ridiculous statement and the truth about fetal heartbeats:

During a recent event at the Ray Charles Performing Arts Center in Atlanta, Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams made a wildly incorrect statement about fetal heartbeats — and by ‘wildly incorrect,’ we mean basically heretical to scientific fact. Abrams used her platform to flat-out claim, “There is no such thing as a heartbeat at six weeks.” That’s not the worst of it, either.

She continued with an outlandish assertion, saying: “It [a fetal heartbeat] is a manufactured sound designed to convince people that men have the right to take control of a woman’s body.”

We just have one question for you, Stacey Abrams — what happened to “believe the science?”

Okay, maybe one more question: What are you on?

Planned Parenthood is buying whatever nonsensical jargon Abrams is selling. The abortion giant recently updated their website to match the narrative Abrams is pushing. This isn’t the first time Planned Parenthood has quietly altered the “facts” about abortion on their website.

Unfortunately, Abrams and Planned Parenthood aren’t the first in the abortion lobby to try denying fetal heartbeats (although turning fetal heartbeats into some kind of patriarchal conspiracy is a new, weird one). Earlier this year, NBC News actually ran an article that featured several abortion supporters denying the same science. Students for Life of America (SFLA) formerly reported:

“Several members of the abortion lobby openly rejected the scientific validity of fetal heartbeats, claiming instead that fetal heartbeats are merely meaningless sounds which are better referred to as “cardiac activity.” Seem like semantics to anyone else? Additionally, to add insult to injury, the abortion supporters—whom NBC News took the liberty of calling “the experts”—asserted that a fetal heartbeat may only be considered a heartbeat when the sound comes from a “desired pregnancy.”

“Unsurprisingly, the abortion lobby is both scientifically illiterate and logically inconsistent on their fetal heartbeat stance. Why is it only a heartbeat if the baby is “desired?” Does something biologically change about a baby’s heart when a mother is mentally unsure about her pregnancy?

Additionally, more than just an eyebrow raise is warranted when discussing Prager’s comment about how both “language and technology” are designed for women who want to continue their pregnancies. That statement would seem to include technology such as ultrasound machines—are we to dismiss the video imagery of preborn babies as fiction on ultrasounds as well if they are not “desired?”

“Regardless of who employs this tactic, this hypocritical logic always fails because it is not based upon reality but upon emotions. The science of a heartbeat stays the same regardless of how you feel about it; to say otherwise is pure and unadulterated indoctrination—and indoctrination is exactly what we’re seeing from the abortion lobby. Their constant struggle to control language and warp science is rock-solid proof. The abortion lobby is spreading propaganda to attempt to deceive Americans into buying into their lie that abortion is no big deal.”

The Pro-Life Generation needs to be prepared to fight back against these denials of science and also understand why exactly they are happening — in this case, denying the validity of fetal heartbeats is a direct attack on the successful, pro-life Heartbeat Bills. As we’ve seen in Texas, among other places, this type of pro-life law is extremely effective in limiting abortions in the state, and that’s why the abortion lobby is attempting to take them down by indoctrinating the public against fetal heartbeats.

Don’t be fooled by the lies — let their hearts beat.
