SFLA To Host Multiple Events in Support of Mississippi Attorney General Fitch in Dobbs v. Jackson SCOTUS Case

“Our generation believes in what we’re doing. We’re pro-life,” said MS Attorney General Lynn Fitch on Kristan Hawkins’ Explicitly Pro-Life Podcast. “It’s such an exciting time. This is definitely the biggest case… probably of my lifetime, and certainly the biggest pro-life case that we’ve had in 50 years.”

WASHINGTON, D.C. (11-29-2021)—While the Supreme Court of the United States is hearing arguments in Dobbs v. Jackson, Students for Life of America will be hosting multiple events in Washington D.C. and Jackson, Mississippi, where pro-lifers will have options for in-person and online events. As Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch fights to defend limits on abortion before a baby can live outside the womb, the Pro-Life Generation will continue our track record of showing up in person at the Supreme Court to speak up for the least of these as well as providing virtual options.

This week’s events are the culmination of SFLA’s national See Me Now Live Ultrasound Bus Tour, which began in Mississippi and ends in Washington D.C. as a case challenging the egregiously wrong decisions that are Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton is debated.

“We want to see women and their children, born and preborn, protected and supported in the law and in our communities,” said Students for Life of America President Kristan Hawkins. “SFLA was founded as a post-Roe organization. We have been working toward this moment when the human rights atrocity of more than 62 million dead because of legalized abortion is finally addressed, with Roe reviewed, reversed, and the issue of abortion returned to the states.”

General Fitch recently appeared on SFLA president, Kristan Hawkins’ podcast, sharing her desire to overturn Roe v. Wade and  to fight on the behalf of all women when she argues at the Supreme Court.

“In this case, we want to talk about the women…how they no longer have to make a choice between their careers or having children,” said Fitch. “I’ve got three wonderful children as a single mom, and I’ve had the opportunity to move forward in my career and have the joy of my life in raising my children. And this is a state law question. The unelected judiciary do not need to be making those decisions for us.”

Pro-abortion supporters are expected around the Supreme Court. The Women’s March and others will be protesting the protection of preborn children from abortion violence. SFLA has recently and historically clashed with pro-abortion supporters and Women’s Marchers, as the pro-abortion supporters have stolen, threatened, assaulted, and cursed out pro-lifers, including telling a pro-life woman they hoped she would be raped.

“The violence of abortion is on full display in the increasing violence of abortion supporters,” said Hawkins, “but the Pro-Life Generation has the courage to confront opposition. We will not be silent on the human rights issue of our day – abortion.”
