Commerical Real estate Energy Analysis By Hibba Stanley

Commercial buildings occupy over 90 billion square feet of in the United States alone. This massive footprint accounts for over 18% of all energy use and more than 35% of all electricity use. That translates to 826,000,000 metric tons of Carbon Dioxide emissions. (EERE)

For my capstone, I researched the consumption of the asset I manage in Vienna, VA. This asset consists of two commercial office buildings built in 1972 and 1990. These buildings had been left in disrepair for the past 25 years and still have some of the original equipment for major operating systems.
