About Me:

My research is focused on emotions, perception, pain, affect, and motivation. I've also spent a lot of time on the sense of touch and haptic exploration. I’m especially interested in the relationship between bodily awareness and our experience of the world, and in understanding how touch connects and interacts with the other senses. More recently, I’ve been focusing on the relationship between emotions and perception, on the nature of the self, on motivating sensory states, and on sensory pleasure and pain.
