Queer Ethnic Studies Scholarship - Undergraduate Awards

This scholarship will be awarded for the upcoming FALL semester.

  • Scholarship Intent: to provide financial support for students in the Queer and Trans Ethnic Studies program who are actively engaged in community work with a focus on empowering and advancing queer and trans people of color and an equitable LGBTQ community.
  • Criteria:
    1. Undergraduate students with a minor in Queer and Trans Ethnic Studies.
    2. Students must be actively engaged in community work with a focus on empowering and advancing queer people of color. Students could be working towards building a more equitable LGBTQ community or eradicating homophobia or transphobia in their communities.

  • Class Level: Undergrad: Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior
  • Enrollment Status: Continuing SF State student
  • Enrollment Requirement: Undergrad: 12 Units
  • Financial Need as determined by the FAFSA and/or CA Dream App: Not a requirement
