Join us for an action-packed, 3-hour daily adventure, five days a week, where young athletes will engage in a variety of exhilarating summer sports and games that can be enjoyed both indoors and outdoors. From soccer to relay races, basketball, track and field events, and inventive obstacle courses, our program fosters skill development, teamwork, and friendly competition. With a focus on inclusivity and fun, our expert coaches will guide participants through dynamic activities designed to promote physical fitness, sportsmanship, and a love for staying active. Please register here online to be a volunteer counselor at Garden City's SCOPE Summer enrichment program. We truly thank you! SCOPE only accepts applicants entering 9th through 12th grade. You MUST commit to all days per week for the week in which you are signing up for. By registering on SCOPE’s website, you are submitting interest. You must complete this additional paper volunteer application and come to a mandatory in person orientation at a date to be decided. The link for the paper application is below. When entering your email address, please DO NOT use a @gardencity.k12.ny.us email, as those bounce back from SCOPE. Please enter a PERSONAL email address so we may communicate with you and your child. When completing the volunteer application please list your guidance counselor as one of your references on the application. You will bring this application to the mandatory orientations prior to the start of the program. We rely on the help of the HS counselors, so please apply for weeks in which you know you can commit. You can apply for one or two weeks only, to ensure there is space for all applicants. Space is limited, first-come first served please register ASAP. Daily activities for students entering grades K-6 includes lessons in STEAM, Coding, Sports, Indoor Games and Fine Arts. If students are staying for afternoon enrichment from morning summer enrichment, they will bring a bagged lunch and remain on campus for lunch between 12:00-12:30pm. Instruction 12:30-2:45pm, pack up & dismissal between 2:45-3:00pm
