SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- The Slippery Rock University track and field program will host a pair of high school championship meets this week with the 2021 WPIAL Individual Championships Wednesday, May 19 and the District 10 Championship meet Saturday, May 22 at the William Lennox Track at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium. ABOUT SLIPPERY ROCK UNIVERSITY TRACK AND FIELD
Slippery Rock boasts one of the most successful men's and women's track and field programs in the state of Pennsylvania. The Rock women have won a total of 16 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference outdoor team titles, including the 2019 championship. SRU's women have placed in the top three at the PSAC outdoor meet 37 times and have won a total of 22 league titles when including the indoor championships. The Rock men have claimed a total of 13 PSAC team titles and have placed in the top three at the PSAC outdoor meet 46 times.
