Your six guest tickets will be reserved once you submit your RSVP for the ceremony. You will be able to pick up your tickets at Commencement Pickup. More information about the pickup event will be shared with you in spring quarter.
Please note the RSVP button will only be visible after you have applied to receive your degree. The deadline to RSVP and reserve tickets is Tuesday, April 30.
Guest Ticket Lottery
If you are seeking more than six guest tickets, be sure to enter the Guest Ticket Lottery for a chance to receive additional tickets from the unclaimed ticket pool. The deadline to enter the lottery is Tuesday, April 30. You will be notified of the lottery results in early May. If selected, you may collect your original six tickets and tickets awarded through the lottery at the Commencement Pickup event in June.
Regalia Ordering
To participate in your commencement ceremony, all graduates must wear regalia, which can be purchased through Herff Jones. The deadline to order regalia is Tuesday, April 30. Refer to the Cap and Gown page on the commencement website for pricing and additional details.
Bachelor’s degree regalia includes a cap, gown, tassel, and red stole. Master’s and doctoral degree regalia includes a cap, gown, tassel, and hood. You are welcome to wear additional stoles and organization cords and decorate your cap for the ceremony.
You may choose to have your regalia shipped to your home (shipping fee applies) or to pick up your regalia on campus at Commencement Pickup (no shipping fees). You will be given this option when placing your order.
Student Speaker Application
Do you have an inspiring or encouraging message for your fellow graduates? All graduating students are welcome to apply to be the student speaker at their college’s commencement ceremony. All applications must be received by Sunday, March 10. Please visit the Student Speaker page for information about submission eligibility and the application process.
