Description

Supply New England has a Sales Manager position open in the Attleboro Massachusetts location. This role has a focus on account development and market growth through the utilization of an outside sales team and advanced internal sales team. Resume can be submitted to hr@supplyne.com.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage outside sales team covering CT, RI and Massachusetts
  • Manage Pro Sales team to support large customer growth
  • Host face-to-face and virtual sales meetings
  • Define team objectives to enable achievement of daily, weekly and quarterly targets
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers, industry influencers and key partners
  • Work collaboratively across all departments to ensure that the rapidly expanding needs of the sales organization are met
  • Sales planning and forecast management
  • Day to day training and utilization of reports
  • Participation in the hiring process
  • New associate development
  • Performance management

Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the plumbing, heating or HVAC industry, 3+ years in sales management
  • Must have an active driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Sales experience must include examples of new-business acquisition and growth of established accounts
  • Proven closing capability and consistent achievement of quota in previous managerial roles
  • Ability to lead a sales meeting with a customer and train others how to improve
  • Work from corporate office in Attleboro and travel within territories, overnights unlikely
  • Consultative selling skills including ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate with reps and vendors
  • Effectively funnel information to management with ability to forecast opportunities and manage sales activity plans
  • Strong personal excellence including desire to win and over-achieve; positive attitude and a history of compliance
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
