Introduction
Amphibians are rare animals that can be found in many places like forests, jungles or even in your backyard. Amphibians have been on earth for more than 370 million years! Let’s find out all the different types of ways that can affect the amphibian's survival and habitat. A fact about Amphibians is that some Amphibians are diverse but unique. Here are some ways that humans affect amphibian survival: deforestation, pollution, climate change, using Amphibians to create products and preys and predators.

Deforestation
Averi, Angira, Karen
Deforestation is when humans remove trees to make room for something besides the forest. The land is then used for farming, building houses, and stores. In doing so, it affects the amphibian's habitat and has a high risk of dying. Also, it can hurt them by making their used-to-be home non-livable. So, having no shelter due to no trees equals death. Also, trees can pile up on streams and rivers and build a dam making the water stop flowing and causes dehydration.

Where do different kinds of Amphibians live?

You might be surprised to learn that there is probably an amphibian living within a walking distance of where you are right now. Amphibians have adapted to survive in many different types of habitats. They can be found in Forests, Wetlands or Vernal Pond, Spring, Streams or Rivers and even your Backyard. Sometimes you can guess where a particular amphibian lives just by looking at its adaptation, coloration, physical characteristics and even behavior.
Pollution affects amphibians

Pollution
What is pollution? And how does it affect Amphibians ?
Air pollution hurts amphibians by making the air smoky and hard to breathe with no fresh air. All of the gas pollution from wildfires clogs their lungs with oil gas and they end up dying of suffocation. They won't be able to breath and they might go EXTINCT.
Water pollution, gasoline pollution and littering comes out everyday and affects amphibians. All the littering is mistaken for food. The plastic doesn't digest or they can choke on the plastic, metal cans and other pollution, Anyhow, it basically poisons the animals... ending up, well you know, dead. If littering continues, the amphibians will end up extinct.
