May 20, 2019 Clara Maass Medical Center’s President and Chief Executive Officer Recognized for Outstanding Citizenship

Belleville, New Jersey — At his 25th Annual Breakfast held on May 5th at the Robert Treat Hotel, Newark’s Councilman At-Large Luis Quintana recognized Dr. Mary Ellen Clyne, President and Chief Executive Officer of Clara Maass Medical Center (CMMC) for Outstanding Citizenship in recognition of her leadership and selfless commitment to helping improve the quality of life of others. The program recognized several community leaders that also included LeRoy Jones, Jr. Chairman of the Essex County Democratic Committee as Man of the Year. The program included an invocation offered by Rev. Leslie Ramos of La Hermosa Church, a performance by a Mariachi Band, and the highlight of the program was the presentation of scholarships to several Newark High School students.
