MassHealth 2023-2024 Member Eligibility Redetermination and Renewals Update - March 2023
In March 2020, the federal government declared a public health emergency (PHE) due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In response to the PHE and consistent with federal continuous coverage requirements, MassHealth put protections in place that prevented members’ MassHealth coverage from ending during the COVID-19 emergency. When continuous coverage requirements end on April 1, 2023, MassHealth will return to our standard annual eligibility renewal processes.
During this webinar we will highlight key tools and resources members and our community partners can access to ensure that we can reach members, help members understand and find support to complete their redetermination.

MassHealth 2023-2024 Member Eligibility Redeterminations - February 7-9, 2023
In March 2020, the federal government declared a public health emergency (PHE) due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In response to the PHE and consistent with federal continuous coverage requirements, MassHealth put protections in place that prevented members’ MassHealth coverage from ending during the COVID-19 emergency. When continuous coverage requirements end on April 1, 2023, MassHealth will return to our standard annual eligibility renewal processes. In preparation, MassHealth is working with the Massachusetts Health Connector, Health Care For All, and other partners to make sure that members are prepared.
This webinar will highlight key tools and resources members and our community partners can access to ensure that we can reach members when it is time for their renewal.
