Scalia/Ginsburg – The Impresario

Opera Double Bill
Performance Pavilion - Morven Museum & Garden
$25 - $130; Youth 5-17 half price

Derrick Wang’s buoyant opera Scalia/Ginsburg is inspired by two opera-loving, ideologically opposed Supreme Court justices who, appearing before a higher power, offer their legal opinions in song in order to secure their freedom.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s opera features an impresario managing the demands of two would-be divas arguing over a leading operatic role.

Both productions are in English with English titles.

Before the June 11 performance, check out the 5pm pre-performance talk at the Stockton Education Center. Free and open to the public. Picnic on the lawn between this event and the opera!
