This program brings Farmers together for a day of learning at The Auer Farm in Bloomfield.
Thursday, February 23rd from 10am - 4pm, with additional networking happy hour from 4-6pm with School Food Service Directors.
This training is best suited for farmers with at least 2 years of growing experience and 2 years production on the land you are cultivating. The focus of this is selling products to schools. School are best positioned to purchase fruits, vegetables, meat and added value dairy. Microgreens, eggs and added values specialty foods are not being purchased in meaningful quantity by schools at this time.
This is a free event, with lunch and optional happy hour with snack and refreshments from 4- 6pm on site.
This registration and pre-conference survey will help us tailor this event to your needs. It only takes 8-10 minutes. This conference has limited in-person capacity and attendance will capped.
Program Goal: To give agricultural producers training and tools to build their capacity to launch or grow efforts to market to schools, therefore increasing sales to schools for farmers while expanding farm-to-school activities for students in schools and communities across the nation.
