Welcome to the USTA Delaware District Junior Learn to Play programs at Silverside Swim Club! This is an instructional course for junior players who can rally (at least 4-5 times) from the full court baseline. This player knows how to serve, keep score, and demonstrates good volleys and overheads. In this class we will continue to work on developing the basic strokes, but the focus will be on doubles strategy (ball placement and player positioning). This is a good class for Middle School/High School students who are competing at an L7 tournament level; or who are hoping to join their MS/HS Team and have already developed good tennis skills, but are not strong enough for the Varsity Team. Alex Fizz will be your tennis coach for the summer.
