It’s been said that libraries are “palaces for the people” and the Palace app gives you instant access to your local “palace” any time, right from the palm of your hand.
All you need to sign up is your library card! And even if your library isn’t using Palace yet, you can still read more than 10,000 books--from children’s books to classics to foreign language books--for free from our Palace Bookshelf.

I love the access to ebooks, but I cannot stand how the bookmarks don't work correctly 😭 I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but everytime I try to go back to a bookmarked spot it takes me to the beginning of the chapter instead. And if I lock my phone it goes back to the biggining of the chapter. It's super frustrating as a mom who has to lock her phone every few minutes to take care of my toddler.

This app is awful. Have to reenter my library card info every day. It forgets where I was in the book almost every time I open it back up leaving me chapters behind. Just locks up when I try to open my book and I have to restart the app several times to get it to actually work. Definately going to try another app once I'm through this book if I can even make it through at all. 0/10 do not use

I keep having this issue where when I get to the end of an audiobook chapter, there will be a bunch of time left in the chapter, but there is no audio, just silence and the chapter timer continuing to count down, and if I fast forward, it skips back to a random place in the book. I have to manually go in to the beginning of each chapter and hit play again. It doesn't do it with every book, just some.
