Governor Lamont Terminates State of Emergency From August 27 Severe Weather

(HARTFORD, CT) – Governor Ned Lamont today delivered a letter to Secretary of the State Denise Merrill notifying her that he has terminated the state of civil preparedness emergency that he declared on August 28, 2020, in response to severe weather that impacted Connecticut on August 27.
