Made 28 appearances, all out of the bullpen for NM State, primarily serving as the closer for the Aggies … With eight saves on the season, Bustamante put together one of the best season in NM State history, tying for fifth on the single-season saves list … Notched his first save against Illinois-Chicago on February 20 … Made his debut for the Aggies on February 18 against Illinois-Chicago … Worked a season-long 3.2 innings against Seattle U on March 11, also striking out a season-high six … Made seven consecutive appearances without allowing a run from May 13 to May 28 … Threw 3.0 scoreless innings in the WAC Championship Game over Abilene Christian to earn the save … Threw 2.1 innings and allowed just one hit against No. 3 Oregon State in the NCAA Corvallis Regional … Did not allow a home run throughout the entire season.
