2021 (Senior)
Played in 10 games for NM State in 2021, making five starts … Logged a career-high 46 tackles, ranking sixth on the team … Totaled a career-high 12 tackles on the road against New Mexico … Picked up his second career sack on October 9 at Nevada … Posted two tackles for a loss in the season opener against UTEP … Added two pass breakups … Combined for 27 tackles over the first three games.

2020 (Senior)
• Season postponed to the spring of 2021 and was limited to just two games due to the COVID-19 pandemic
• Was highly productive in the two-game season, recording nine total tackles and a team-best 2.5 tackles-for-loss
• Contributed four total tackles, a sack and 1.5 tackles-for-loss against Tarleton (Feb. 21)
• Forced a fumble and recorded a career best five tackles (one for loss) in the Aggies victory  against Dixie State (Mar. 7).

2019 (Freshman)
• Took his redshirt season
• Played in one game, making his collegiate debut in the season finale at Liberty (Nov. 30)
• Logged three total tackles, including one tackle for loss, in his lone appearance.

High School
• Played three years of varsity football at Taylor HS
• Was named a six-time Player of the Game by MaxPreps during his career, including four times during his senior season
• Started in all 12 games for the Mustangs in 2018
• Recorded 92 total tackles with two for losses as a senior
• Added three sacks for a loss of 10 yards and had five quarterback hurries in his final season
• Helped the Mustangs to a 9-3 overall record and first round win in the 2016 Conference 6A D2 State Tournament
• Finished his career with 256 tackles in three seasons
• Was also a two-time academic all-district honoree on top of back-to-back first-team all-district accolades.

Personal
• Son of Mevlin and Charaine Ferguson
• Has an older brother, Melvin, two younger brothers, Matthew and Myles, and a younger sister, McCall
• Majoring in business management.
