2020-21 | Put the wraps on his college basketball career by again serving as a role player off the bench...Took part in 10 contests and averaged 1.5 points, 0.3 rebounds and 0.2 assists in 3.7 minutes per game...Concluded the season with shooting splits of .357/.357/.000...All 14 of his field goal attempts came from beyond the arc...Put forth a career-best outing in a non-conference victory over Benedictine Mesa (Dec. 1), finishing with a season-high six points as well as career highs in rebounds (three), assists, field goal (two), field goal attempts (six), three-pointers made (two), three-point field goal attempts (six) and minutes played (15).

2019-20 | Became a fan favorite during his first season of action in an Aggie uniform...Appeared in eight games and averaged 2.8 points, 0.4 rebounds and 0.1 assists while shooting .462/.500/.625...Made his Aggie debut in the team's season opener where he put in seven points and added one rebound in a season-high 15 minutes of action during a non-conference victory over Western New Mexico (11/5)...Came up with season-highs in rebounds (two), assists (one) and steals (one) during a non-conference home victory over Northern New Mexico (12/29)...Drilled a season-high two three-pointers in a home WAC victory over Chicago State (1/9)...Helped the Aggies capture their third-consecutive WAC regular season title while ending the season in a 19-game winning streak that ranked as the second-longest in the nation. 

2018-19 | Sat out due to NCAA transfer rules.

2017-18 (Alabama-Huntsville) | Redshirted.

High School | Played at Centennial High School…helped team win the state title following a 28-4 year in his sophomore season…aided team in reaching state semifinals in his junior year…named a first team all-district performer his junior year after scoring 12 points per game…selected as a first-team all-district choice his senior campaign after averaging 17.6 points, 3.3 assists and 1.7 steals...finished his career as the all-time leader at CHS in free throw percentage.

Personal | Son of Casey Owens and Susannah Benson...has a younger sister, Ophelia...both parents are New Mexico State University alums...father Casey is currently the Director of Operation with the Aggie basketball team after serving as an assistant coach with the Los Angeles Lakers (2016-18) and was the former head coach of the Los Angeles D-Fenders (2015-16)...majoring in individualized studies.
