Played varsity baseball at Red Mountain HS in Arizona ... Ranked as the 14th best overall player in the state of Arizona ... Also named the fourth best shortstop in Arizona in 2018.

Son of Darrin and Susan Duffy … Has three siblings … Father, Darrin, played collegiately at Grand Canyon, was drafted in the third round of the 1986 MLB Draft by the Oakland Athletics and played seven years in the minor leagues with the Athletics and Cubs organizations, reaching Triple-A.
