How to Watch Easter General Conference in the South Pacific

General conference broadcast schedule for television and radio stations in Australia, New Zealand, and other South Pacific countries

General Conference is a semi-annual conference for members and friends of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints around the world to hear inspired words from prophets, apostles and other Church leaders.

The conference takes place in Salt Lake City, Utah each April and October, and is available through many different channels and in many different languages around the world.

Senior Church leaders will share modern revelation, gospel messages, and other relevant guidance for today.

In the October 2020 Saturday morning session, the Prophet and President of the Church, President Russell M. Nelson, shared, “I pray that you will choose to lay hold upon the word of God as it is declared during this general conference. And I pray that you may feel the Lord’s perfect love for you.”

This year, the April conference falls on Easter weekend. In preparation for this event, the Church has initiated a campaign titled “Starting Today” which invites individuals to follow Jesus Christ.

In the past, people in the South Pacific have typically gathered together in Church meetinghouses the following weekend to watch the conference. Now members and friends of the Church can watch sessions online or on television in some locations. Radio is another option for many.

The conference includes five different sessions: Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon, Saturday evening, Sunday morning, and Sunday afternoon. The Saturday evening sessions alternate each six months from being especially for women and girls to being especially for men and boys ─ but everyone is welcome to watch.
