Applicant Registration Opens: Prior to registering, applicants should review information about applicant registration on this website. Applicants register for the Match via the online registration portal shared by the Match and the Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service (PhORCAS). The registration portal can be accessed from the Applicant Registration page on this website. Applicants must apply to programs independently of the Match. All residencies that participate in the Match also participate in PhORCAS. Applicants must register for the Match before they can send applications to those residencies using PhORCAS. Applicants must abide by the individual application deadline dates set by each program. |
| December 15, 2023 | Early Commitment Deadline: The final deadline for PGY2 programs to offer and for PGY1 residents to accept positions through the Early Commitment Process is 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Information about the Early Commitment Process is available on this website. |

Phase I Match Results Day: Results of Phase I of the Match are released to applicants and Program Directors. Program Directors must contact matched applicants in writing no later than April 12, 2024, and applicants must respond in accordance with the program's instructions, to confirm and document acceptance of the Match results. Available Positions for Phase II: A list of programs with available positions for Phase II of the Match is provided on this website beginning at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time. |

Prepare Phase II Applications: Applicants who are not matched to a position in Phase I, as well as applicants who did not participate in Phase I, can use PhORCAS to prepare applications beginning at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time. |

Submit Phase II Applications: Beginning at 9:00 am Eastern Time, applicants who did not obtain a position in Phase I of the Match or who did not participate in Phase I of the Match can submit applications using PhORCAS to programs participating in Phase II of the Match. Applicants and Programs that are eligible to participate in Phase II of the Match can access the NMS Match System to update their status and profile information for Phase II (e.g., withdraw or reactivate, update contact information, update number of positions available, etc.). |

Phase II Rankings Open: Applicants and programs may begin to submit Rank Order Lists for Phase II of the Match using the NMS Match System. |

Phase II Match Results Day: Results of Phase II of the Match are released to applicants and Program Directors. Program Directors must contact matched applicants in writing no later than May 10, 2024, and applicants must respond in accordance with the program's instructions, to confirm and document acceptance of the Match results. No action to fill available positions, such as contacts or interviews between applicants and programs, is to be taken on April 10 prior to 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Available Positions for Post-Match: A list of programs with available positions for the Post-Match Process is provided on this website beginning at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Applicants who do not obtain a position in the Match can use PhORCAS to prepare applications to programs in the Post-Match Process. Programs can update information on positions available in the Post-Match Process in the NMS Match System until May 31. |

Submit Post-Match Applications: Beginning at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time, applicants who did not obtain a position in either Phase of the Match, or who did not participate in either Phase of the Match, can submit applications using PhORCAS to programs in the Post-Match Process. |
| April 17, 2024 | Recommended date for programs in the Post-Match Process to begin to make offers to applicants. |
| May 31, 2024 | NMS Match System Closes: After this date, information regarding the results of the Match for applicants and programs, as well as lists of unfilled positions and unmatched applicants, will no longer be available. |
