LEE COUNTY, Fla. — A precautionary boil water notice has been issued for a North Fort Myers neighborhood due to a water main break. The boil water notice was issued for the area along New Post Road from Bayshore Road to the entrance of Old Bridge Village, including all of: New Post DriveFoxlake DriveArbor Lakes Drive WestArbor Lakes Drive EastNantucket CircleCrystal Lakes DriveCrystal Lakes LaneLongleaf DriveTorreya CircleWhite Cedar LaneSourwood CourtLoblolly DriveHorn Beam Court The boil water notice applies to about 650 Lee County Utilities customers. The county said a contractor is working on a water main replacement project in the neighborhood along New Post Road, which is part of a broader project to replace older infrastructure in the area. Lee County will announce when the precautionary boil water notice has been lifted and the water is safe to drink. All water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes must be boiled at a rolling boil for one minute, or as an alternative, bottled water may be used. The boil water notice applies to about 650 Lee County Utilities customers.
