Class is now in session.

Parent University, the DOE’s new online learning and empowerment platform for NYC public school families, is now available to help City families support their students both at home and inside the classroom.

Open to all NYC families with NYC Schools Accounts, Parent University provides families with free tailored resources and courses throughout the school year with workshops, training sessions, live virtual events, and more. Families can also use Parent University to stay informed about City schools and DOE community partners throughout the school year.

“Our families have been so resilient this past year, and through Parent University, we’re finding more ways to empower parents and guardians as partners,” said Chancellor Richard Carranza in late November. “We know our families are busier than ever, and this platform is designed to meet parents where they are, whether that’s pre-recorded courses or live virtual events. We’ll continue to add resources that support, engage, and educate our families throughout the year.”
