MiLW names ‘Women in the Law’ Class of 2020

Michigan Lawyers Weekly is proud to announce the 30 lawyers selected as the “Women in the Law” Class of 2020.

The honorees have made outstanding contributions to the practice of law in Michigan and set an example for other lawyers. They are pioneers, educators, trailblazers and role models. They have demonstrated tremendous leadership and offer a wealth of expertise in diverse areas of the law.

Every year we look forward to celebrating the Women of Law honorees. But because the current requirements of social distancing don’t permit us to safely come together in person, we will celebrate the Class of 2020 at a COVID-compliant virtual event on Thursday, Oct. 8 at 6 p.m.

In addition announcing the “Woman of the Year,” who will be selected by the class, the event will recognize each honoree individually; guests will have the opportunity to participate in the program and congratulate and celebrate the honorees via social media platforms from their homes or offices.

The honorees will be profiled in a special section appearing in the Oct. 12 issue of MiLW.
