Green Committee: How GSA is Shaping Sustainable Procurement
On March 20 at 2:00 PM ET, the Green Committee will hear from Boris Arratia, the Designated Federal Officer for the General Services Administration Acquisition Policy Federal Advisory Committee (GAP FAC). The GAP FAC, founded in 2022, is made up of experts in the Federal government, industry, and academia, and provides recommendations to GSA on how it can use its acquisition tools to target high priority acquisition challenges, including those related to climate and sustainability.
During the meeting, Mr. Arratia will review the GAP FAC's work, including the two sets of recommendations it has issued so far. He will also review how industry can get involved and the committee's future assignments.
