Participants will dive deep into power, oppression, white supremacy, and anti-Blackness, and how these show up in our lives and in our society. This course will allow participants to confront their own internalized white supremacy and have access to skills in building relationships of solidarity and accountability with BIPOC. There will be a lot of questions, conversation, time for reflection, and meaningful work done towards reparations while we go through this 10-week program together. We hope to build intentional and trusted relationships across racial and ethnic identities as we fight for Black and Indigenous liberation by dismantling white supremacy.
We give huge thanks to Celesté Martinez and Bianca Mikahn (pictured above) for this collaboration with Denver SURJ.
