Women's Trauma Healing Retreat

We have a few openings left

June 1-4
Boulder Hot Springs, Boulder, MT

Experience the power of equine-assisted trauma therapy

Trauma short-circuits neuropathways that help us feel safe and connected.

The equine-assisted sessions are uniquely designed to help heal these neuropathways so you can anchor in a sense of safety and wellbeing.

Join us!

  • Learn about the misperceptions we tell ourselves, or are told, that lead to judgement, shame, blame, and destructive behaviors.

  • Explore practices that will change your thinking about trauma responses and help rewire our nervous systems to find an anchor in safety so we don't get hijacked by our fight, flight, freeze survival responses.

  • Experience equine-assisted therapy, which is recognized in trauma healing work as a profound and powerful modality for transformation. *All interactions with the horses are from the ground, no riding is involved and no prior horse experience is necessary.
The retreat curriculum includes 14 CE hours for Licensed Mental Health Professionals: Course Title – Trauma Informed Care for Individuals and Groups but is open to anyone interested in understanding and healing from trauma (their own or to better support others).

TESTIMONIAL

My name is Hailey Martinez and I am a counselor, educator, and licensed clinical professional counselor. I first met Patricia and Sheri when looking for a course to meet requirements for continuing education for my licensure. This is where I found an advertisement for an equine-assisted trauma training for practitioners. Little did I know this is what my soul had needed- to begin a new chapter of healing and continued self-work that is critical to my role as a therapist.

Patricia brings her knowledge and experience to the work she engages in with participants, clients, and people in general. Her genuineness and the space she holds has allowed me the space to tap into my own trauma and identify areas that still needed attendance. Patricia has a diverse background in trauma work and lived experience she is able to incorporate into her facilitation of various topics.

Sheri brings a gentle presence and holds space in a way for individuals to really turn inward and reflect on their process and what is unfolding for them. She is knowledgeable in how to facilitate a deeper level of self-reflection while fostering curiosity. Sheri’s background and experience in working with equine to partner in creative ways to promote healing and learning provided me with a space to tune into what I was noticing in my body as it related to what was coming up for me. I am truly grateful to have had the opportunity to meet these two women and look forward to further work from them both!”
