Principal's Weekly Message

Dear Cobble Hill Family:

I can’t believe we are in May and almost at the end of the year.   As I was reading through the newsletter, I couldn’t help but notice all the activities and offerings that are available to you through our partnerships with various organizations and grants. I hope that you take a minute to read through the newsletter and participate in at least one activity that interests you this week and next so that you can learn more about it.  Exploring a new hobby or interest is a great way to develop a new talent and bring a sense of enjoyment and fulfillment to the things that you do.

As we begin to plan for next year, we need to know what your ideal school day would look like.  We are conducting student forums next week on Tuesday, May 25.  Please be sure to attend so that you can provide us with feedback on this school year and help us to plan out the next.  It is our school community and all voices matter.  We will also engage in team building and a circle activity.

Please attend zoom sessions and complete assignments daily.   Ask for specific feedback to improve your work products and utilize the rubric that is being provided for the task.  If you are not provided with rubrics or the feedback is vague, please speak with your teacher or let me know.   If you are having difficulties, please reach out to your teacher or let me know by emailing me at amule@schools.nyc.gov.

We have a great staff and a great student body! As far as I am concerned, we are the best high school in Brooklyn. Go Team Cobble!

Warmly,
Principal Mule'
