Henri is continuing to move north up the East Coast. As that continues, very tropical conditions will continue to establish itself over PA.
Any shower or thunderstorm that develops this afternoon and evening will be capable of heavy rain and even some flash flooding. Soaking showers will remain possible overnight.
The greatest threat for any flooding will be east of the Susquehanna River.
Hurricane warnings are in place for much of New England and Long Island. Tropical Storm warnings are in effect for the NYC area and the north coast of New Jersey.
The storm is expected to make landfall along Long Island, NY Sunday afternoon. As it approaches Long Island, it will take a bit of a left turn. This westward motion will allow rain from the storm to move into eastern Pennsylvania tomorrow.
If the storm moves far enough west, we could be looking at some areas getting an inch or more of rain.
Currently, there are no flash flood watches or warnings in place.
