Check on the status of your CWD test results
To determine if a deer you harvested during the 2023-24 deer season was tested for chronic wasting disease (CWD) and to check on its test status,
enter the confirmation number you received when you reported your harvest below and click ‘Search’.
You may also search by your customer ID number, to see the status and/or results of all deer you harvested/reported harvests during the 2023-24 season.
Note: this tool is only for hunter-harvested deer that were sampled and tested for CWD by FWC during the 2023-24 hunting season.
Turnaround time
We are committed to providing test results as quickly as possible, especially for those hunting in or near the area of Florida affected by CWD. However, there are many steps in the process of obtaining results, many of which are out of our control. Please allow up to 30 days before inquiring with FWC about a test result showing as “Pending”. Please direct inquiries about a test result to CWD@myFWC.com. For general inquiries, please contact the CWD Response Team.
