Certified Sustainable Winegrowing of the Pacific Northwest
LIVE is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that supports environmentally and socially responsible winegrowing through third-party certification and educational programming. We welcome you to learn more about our efforts toward a more sustainable world.
What We Do
Since 1999, LIVE has independently certified the sustainable practices of winegrowers in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. We rely on the latest university research and internationally accredited standards of integrated production. LIVE is now globally recognized as a leading certification body for sustainable farming and production.
Learn more about usOur Standards
Each year, LIVE vineyard and winery members submit a comprehensive set of reporting requirements for review. This annual process enables our third-party inspectors to verify that sustainability goals are being met. Here you will find our standards, how they are developed, and the fees for certification.
Our Members
We are a cooperative organization, supporting each other's efforts within our tight-knit winegrowing community. Members can join committees of their peers, attend educational seminars, and sit on the Board of Directors. Our vineyards span from 2 acres to 700, our wineries from 400 cases to 1.5 million. All are welcome.
