The Powerball jackpot has climbed to $1.5 billion, the third largest in U.S. lottery history, after no one matched all six winning numbers in last night’s drawing.
The winning numbers in Wednesday’s Powerball drawing were 02-11-22-35-60, Powerball: 23, Power Play: 2X. Double Play Winning Numbers were 20-34-37-57-67, Powerball: 26. (Note: Double Play is a recent add-on feature in 14 states and not currently available in New York.)
No one matched all six digits for the Nov. 2 grand prize, which would have been $1.2 billion. Still, 16 lucky tickets worth $1 million were sold, including one in New York state at Smokes 4 Less in Newburgh, Orange County. Another ticket worth $100,000 was also sold in New York.

Second prize: $1 million
Powerball players can win $1 million by matching all five white numbers. 16 such tickets sold were sold in Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Maryland, Minnesota, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Texas, and Virginia.
Third prize: $50,000
12 tickets in New York matched four numbers + the Powerball for a $50,000 prize.
Fourth & fifth prizes: $100
417 tickets in NY matched four of five numbers for a $100 prize. Another 939 tickets matched three numbers + Powerball for a $100 prize.
Sixth & seventh prizes: $7
24,633 tickets in NY matched three of five numbers for a $7 prize. Another 18,121 tickets matched two numbers + Powerball for $7.
Eighth & ninth prizes: $4
134,818 tickets in NY matched one number + Powerball for a $4 prize. Another 321,915 tickets got the Powerball only for a $4 prize.
Power Play second prize: $2 million
To participate in Power Play, an additional $1 must be paid at the time of buying a Powerball ticket. The Power Play for Wednesday’s drawing was x2, doubling most smaller prizes won. 3 tickets won the second Power Play prize of $2 million, sold in Arkansas, Montana, and New Jersey.

1 ticket sold in New York won the third Power Play prize of $100,000.
Power Play fourth and fifth prizes: $200
35 Power Play tickets in NY matched four of five numbers for a $200 prize. Another 91 Power Play tickets matched three numbers + Powerball for a $200 prize.

The next drawing of winning numbers that could make a lucky winner fabulously wealthy will be Saturday, Nov. 5, at 10:59 p.m. The Powerball jackpot will be $1.5 billion with an estimated $745.9 million cash prize.
Powerball tickets are sold in 45 states, Washington, D.C., the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. Tickets are $2 each, and sales stop 59 minutes before the drawing, but may end earlier in some states.
