Syracuse, NY — A history of conflict between Syracuse families led to a confrontation between two boys that left one dead and the other headed to prison, a defense lawyer said in court Wednesday.

Sebastian Oliver, then 14, shot to death another boy, Radames “Remy” Francisco, 15, during a dispute on Shonnard Street in May 2021.
