Syracuse, N.Y. — The first of Syracuse football’s three remaining home games this season got its kickoff time Monday.
The No. 22 Orange will host No. 14 N.C. State at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 15 inside the JMA Wireless Dome. The game will air live on ACC Network.
It will be just the second afternoon game SU has played this season. The Orange has kicked off at 8 p.m., 7:30 p.m., noon, 7 p.m. and 5 p.m. so far.
Syracuse (5-0, 2-0 ACC) made its first appearance of the year in the AP Top 25 following its 59-0 win against Wagner on Saturday night. It is also ranked in the USA Today Coaches Poll at No. 21.
N.C. State (4-1, 0-1), meanwhile, has been ranked since the preseason in both polls. The Wolfpack started at No. 13 back in August and has fluctuated each week since then. Their highest ranking was No. 10 following four straight wins. The lowest N.C. State has been ranked was No. 18.
The Wolfpack lost its first game of the season 30-20 against Clemson on Saturday. It faces Florida State this weekend at home while Syracuse is on its bye.
Clemson at Florida State and University of North Carolina at Duke received the evening kickoff spots on ABC and ACC Network, respectively.
