It’s been less than a month since the 2022 New York State Fair ended, but there’s already another opportunity to grab all the grub you want at the fairgrounds.
More than 50 food trucks will roll into spots in and around Chevy Court and the Center of Progress on Saturday for the annual Fall Fest sponsored by the Syracuse Food Truck Association. The hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 24). Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance online or at the gate.
In addition to the varied offerings from the trucks, the event includes live music, craft beer and wine slushie stands. An Artisan Village inside the Center of Progress will feature more than 100 crafters, a Kids Zone with face painting other activities.

The Syracuse Food Truck Association currently has about 60 members. It sponsors several other large events each year, including seasonal “takeovers” at Great Northern Mall on Wednesdays, Shoppingtown Mall on Tuesdays, at Long Branch Park on Thursdays and at the Everson Museum on Fridays.
At the fairgrounds, it also hosts the annual Food Truck Battle in May, which its touts as the largest gathering of food trucks in Central New York. It drew more than 20,000 visitors in May 2022.
