SU offensive coordinator Robert Anae and quarterbacks coach Jason Beck were on the Virginia coaching staff last season and helped the Cavaliers engineer a Top 5 offense in college football.
Syracuse is surely hoping to use their intel on Virginia QB Brennan Armstrong to its advantage.
