Syracuse, N.Y. — It seems like the only two types of quarterbacks Syracuse faces this season are backups stepping up due to injuries or some of the best starters in the nation.

Syracuse football (2-0, 1-0 ACC) hosts Purdue at noon Saturday in the Boilermakers first visit to the JMA Wireless Dome. Leading the Boilermakers is sixth-year quarterback Aidan O’Connell.
