Trey Anastasio Band to play in Syracuse this fall

Syracuse, N.Y. — The Trey Anastasio Band will perform Nov. 18 at the Upstate Medical University Arena at The Oncenter War Memorial in downtown Syracuse.

The Phish frontman’s side project band will be joined for the show by Goose. Fans can expect a full set from each band along with unique collaborations, according to the Trey Anastasio Band website.

Tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. Aug. 19 through Ticketmaster.

Goose is a Connecticut jam band featuring Rick Mitarotonda on vocals and guitar, Peter Anspach on vocals, keyboards and guitar, Trevor Weekz on bass, Ben Atkind on drums, and Jeff Arevalo on vocals, percussion and drums.

Anastasio’s band includes drummer Russ Lawton, bassist Dezron Douglas, keyboardist Ray Paczkowski, percussionist Cyro Baptista, plus by a full horn section, including trombonist/vocalist Natalie Cressman, multi-instrumentalist James Casey and longtime trumpeter/vocalist Jennifer Hartswick.

Anastasio is most well known as lead singer and guitarist for Phish. The band was recently in Upstate New York, playing two nights in July at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts.
