Syracuse, N.Y. – A 70-year-old man slipped out of a Syracuse nursing home unnoticed just before midnight March 18 and took off. He might have gone out a second-floor window.

His roommate reported him missing. This came as a surprise to the night staff at Central Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, who later told a state health department inspector they didn’t know the escapee was even a resident there.
