Syracuse, NY -- A Syracuse man is on trial this week in the fatal stabbing of a woman in the entryway of the Syracuse Community Health Clinic following a dispute over social distancing.

The June 10, 2020 murder happened in the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic, when the clinic was enforcing strict distancing requirements. It’s perhaps the most senseless of the slayings to happen in Syracuse stemming from an argument over pandemic restrictions.
