‘Incomprehensible:’ Man accused of raping Le Moyne student just released from jail, twice

Syracuse, N.Y. — Jerel Walker, facing seven years in prison for burglary, was recently released from jail until his sentencing later this summer.

County Court Judge Stephen Dougherty warned him, however, he had to stay out of trouble.

The next day Walker was arrested for violating an order of protection to stay away from his girlfriend.
