Former Syracuse center Otis Hill on 1996 Final Four, working with violent youths and love of horses (podcast)

Syracuse, N.Y. ― Otis Hill is one of the most underrated players in Syracuse basketball history.

In his career from 1993 to 1997, Hill started more than 100 games, scored more than 1,400 points and played on three NCAA tournament teams, including the 1996 squad that advanced to the NCAA championship game.

In an appearance on the Inside Syracuse Basketball podcast, Hill talked about his career. How he didn’t like splitting time with fellow center J.B. Reafsnyder until he realized that both he and the team benefitted.

Hill also discussed what he’s been doing since his basketball career ended. He has worked with troubled youths at a detention facility. He recently got married and moved to Kentucky where he and his wife share their love of horses.
