British rock band The Cult to play Syracuse concert with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club

British rock band The Cult is coming to Syracuse this summer.

The Cult will perform at The Oncenter Crouse Hinds Theater on July 26. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Zola Jesus will open the show at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets go on sale Friday, May 13 at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster. Prices may fluctuate with demand.

The concert is one of just 16 North American shows scheduled on The Cult’s “We Own the Night” tour. The band, featuring singer Ian Astbury and guitarist Billy Duffy, is best known for ‘80s UK hits like “She Sells Sanctuary,” “Rain” and “Fire Woman,” plus the song “Painted on My Heart” from 2000′s “Gone in 60 Seconds” soundtrack.

BRMC, featuring members Peter Hayes, Robert Levon Been and Leah Shapiro. is a California-based rock band that released its eighth album in 2018.
